On January 11, 2016, Foundation Medicine, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing its preliminary financial results for the quarter and year ended December 31, 2015. A copy of the press release is being furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Report on Form 8-K.

Michael Pellini, the Company’s Chief Executive Officer, will present at the 34th Annual J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. PST in San Francisco. The presentation will be webcast live through the Company’s website at investors.foundationmedicine.com. A copy of the presentation slide deck is being furnished as Exhibit 99.2 to this Report on Form 8-K.
