Item 8.01 Other Events.
On April 29, 2008, Microtune, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that its Board of Directors has authorized a Stock Repurchase Program to acquire up to $10 million of the Company’s outstanding shares of common stock through the end of 2008. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
