Departure of Directors or Principal Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Principal Officers.

 

On August 21, 2007, The Valspar Corporation, a Delaware corporation, announced the election of William L. Mansfield, Valspar President and Chief Executive Officer to the additional role of Chairman of the Board, effective immediately. Thomas R. McBurney, who has served as non-executive Chairman for the past two years, will remain Chair of the Board’s Governance Committee and Lead Director.
