AUSTIN, Texas - Jan. 18, 2018 - PRLog -- Brent Grablachoff announced the 2017 Kicking World All-America Team comprised of the best High School and College kickers and punters in America. It took weeks making the selections for this hand-picked All-American kicker and punter team.
Often times kickers and punters are overlooked, but Kicking World makes sure to bring light to specialists' accomplishments. In 2017 the company coached and evaluated over 1,200 HS and College kickers, punters and snappers through 50 camps in 25 states.
"It takes weeks to hone in our list of Kicking World All-Americans, but rest assured it's the most exclusive and highest caliber football kicking and punting recruits available... many college football coaches use our Team as a way to recruit our top players" said Brent Grablachoff.
Two of the college kickers on this year's All-America Team are projected to make it as NFL kickers. Placekickers can separate themselves by having a higher kickoff/touchback ratio. This year's Kicking World College All-American kickers Jason Sanders, a senior from University of New Mexico led all of college football with an over 84% kickoff/touchback ratio. Freshman kicker Lucas Havrisik of University of Arizona kicked a 57 yard field goal and over 67% touchbacks this season. Jason is expected to have an audience at his upcoming Pro Day in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
