Greg Nowak Joins Desert Mountain Energy's Technical Team

(the "Company") (TSX.V: DME) is pleased to announce that Gregory Nowak, P.Geo., has joined the Company's technical team as a Senior Consulting Geologist to provide exploration services in connection with the Company's Heliopolis Helium Project in Arizona's Holbrook Basin and its Kight Gilcrease Sand Unit oil field in Seminole County, Oklahoma.

Greg has more than 30 years' experience as an exploration geologist primarily in oil & gas, gold, uranium and base metals exploration. He has extensive oil & gas experience in the Permian Basin of West Texas and Southeast New Mexico, the Texas-Louisiana-Mississippi-

Alabama Gulf Coast, and the Williston Basin of Montana, where he was the Petroleum Geologist in charge of prospect screening, project generation, wellsite geology, drill log interpretation and planning of development wells. As Exploration Manager in Africa for Golden Star Resources and Ashanti Goldfields, he planned and conducted mineral field exploration and drilling projects throughout the West Africa Sub-Region, including Ghana, Cote D'Ivoire, Burkina Faso, Mali, Sierra Leone and Liberia. He has also worked as an Exploration Geologist in the western U.S., Canada, South America and the Mid-East.

Greg received his M.S. Degree in Geology from the Mackay School of Mines at the University of Nevada, Reno. He is a Certified Professional Geologist (CPG #10864) of the American Institute of Professional Geologists (AIPG), a Fellow of the Society of Economic Geologists (SEG), and he is a Qualified Person as defined by NI 43-101.
