Issue 1 Winning By 17 Points In New Independent Poll Baldwin-Wallace University Poll Of Likely Voters Has Issue 1 Up 48-31 Percent

COLUMBUS – A new poll released today shows likely voters supporting Issue 1 by a 17 point margin as early voting begins tomorrow. The independent poll by Baldwin-Wallace University's Community Research Institute found Issue 1 ahead 48-31 percent in a survey of 1,017 likely Ohio voters.

"A Yes vote on Issue 1 represents the people's platform and the people's campaign. This poll reflects that Ohioans want safer communities and more treatment for our loved ones who are suffering from addiction. Ohio is second, to only West Virginia, in overdose deaths, and we are on average losing 14 people a day to the opioid crisis. It is critical that we pass Issue 1 now," said Dennis Willard, spokesperson for the Yes on Issue 1 campaign.
