On January 16, Meggesto, Crossett and Valerino, LLP (MCV LAW) partner and Workers’ Compensation lawyer William Crossett will be recognized at the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA) Annual Meeting.
Crossett will receive the 2019 NYSBA Mary M. Russo and John Sciortino Award. This award recognizes the recipient’s “outstanding contribution to the practice of law in the field of workers compensation.” Crossett is an active member of the Torts, Insurance and Compensation Law (TICL) Sections Workers Compensation Law Division.
Crossett has appeared before the Workers’ Compensation Board and the Courts of New York since 1982. He is a past President of the Injured Workers Bar Association of New York. Crossett has also been inducted as a fellow in the College of Workers Compensation Lawyers. Crossett has testified before the New York State Senate and has presented Continuing Legal Education programs.
