Cigna Named to CR Magazine 100 Best Corporate Citizens for Fifth Consecutive Year

Corporate Responsibility Magazine (CR Magazine) has named global health service company Cigna to its 20th annual 100 Best Corporate Citizens ranking, recognizing outstanding environmental, social and governance (ESG) transparency and performance among the 1,000 largest publicly traded companies in the United States.

Cigna's corporate responsibility platform, Cigna Connects is focused on three key areas: health and well-being, environment, and inclusive and responsible business. Within each area, the company applies global health services expertise, resources and innovative thinking to help solve complex challenges. These focus areas are interrelated, mutually reinforcing and aligned with stakeholder expectations.

“Cigna Connects focuses on making powerful connections that positively impact the health of people, communities and the environment, and supports our company mission to improve the health, well-being and peace of mind of those we serve,” said Mary Tullis Engvall, senior director of corporate responsibility at Cigna. “We are proud to be recognized as one of the 100 Best Corporate Citizens for the fifth consecutive year.”
