The nation’s trade deficit fell 2.1% in April as exports and imports both declined. The grounding of Boeing’s 737 MAX curbed aircraft shipments while a slower global economy and ongoing trade tensions dented other major U.S. exports. The trade gap shrank to $50.8 billion from a revised $51.9 billion.
