The EXP-VFD-3P-460-2HP-4A-DCM-M1 explosion-proof VFD phase converter is rated for use in Class I, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups B, C and D; Class I, Zones 1 and 2, Groups IIB+H2 and IIA; Class II, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups E, F and G; and Class III hazardous locations. This 1.5 kw unit supports seven on-off programmable digital inputs, one high-speed pulse input and two programmable analog inputs. This unit also supports one programmable open collector output, one analog output, two relay outputs and two analog outputs.
Larson Electronics' explosion-proof VFD phase converter is operated via a Start and Stop button and an included potentiometer facilitates motor speed control. This unit is made of copper-free aluminum alloy with stainless-steel hardware. This converter carries a NEMA 4X rating, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use and ensures protection from water, moistures, dust, dirt and external ice formation. This unit is compatible with surface mounting applications and is suitable for flammable and combustible work sites, speed control of AC motors, industrial machines, and more.
