LIVERMORE, Calif. - Oct. 14, 2019 - PRLog -- California autonomous jet drone transportation startup, New Frontier Aerospace (NFA), is proud to announce that it has been accepted into the 2019/20 cohort of the Toronto-based Creative Destruction Lab's (CDL) Space Stream.

"We are honored by the opportunity to participate in CDL's Space Stream and pleased that CDL recognizes the potential of our technology and vision. We look forward to working with world-renowned space experts to scale our concept and help us cover the globe," said NFA CEO Bill Bruner.

New Frontier Aerospace was founded in 2017 with the vision of revolutionizing high-speed transportation.  NFA designs and builds a unique product that combines ultra-high speeds and long range with the precision & flexibility of a drone. Its proprietary approach makes high speed jet and rocket propelled craft usable and practical across a range of applications. The NFA team is composed of aerospace designers, experienced software and sensor engineers, as well as former NASA and Air Force senior leaders.

NFA is supported by i-GATE, operator of Switch Labs in Livermore, California – an incubator for hard tech startups on a mission to change the world. I-GATE was founded by the City of Livermore, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and Sandia National Laboratories (California).

CDL is a seed-stage program for massively scalable, science and technology-based companies. CDL's Space Stream brings together astronauts, entrepreneurs, investors, and scientists from fields related to space exploration, space transportation and satellite communications to help startups raise capital, and engage with experts working on the frontiers of research.  Since its inception, companies that have participated in the CDL program have created more than $4.34 billion CAD ($3.29 billion USD) in equity value.
