UPDATE 2-Patterson-UTI posts bigger-than-expected loss, points to recovery

Oilfield services provider Patterson-UTI Energy Inc reported a bigger-than-expected quarterly loss on Thursday, but forecast a modest increase in rig count in early 2020.
