Sallie Mae Annual Meeting of Stockholders to Be Held Virtually

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Sallie Mae (Nasdaq: SLM), formally SLM Corporation, today announced its 2020 annual meeting of stockholders scheduled for June 18, 2020, at 11 a.m. ET, will now be held virtually and not at the company’s headquarters as previously announced.

The virtual meeting will be open to stockholders of record as of the close of business on April 21, 2020. Additional details will be included in the company’s proxy statement to be filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission later this month.
