This is the 40th book Kelley has authored. This is number six in the bestselling Nantucket Beach Plum Cove series, which begins with The Nantucket Inn, which has sold over 200,000 copies. This book has been eagerly anticipated by readers who are addicted to this series and wanted to follow Izzy’s story and catch up with all their Nantucket friends. She is also the author of the breakout USA Today and Wall Street Journal bestselling books, The Restaurant and Christmas at the Restaurant.

Nantucket Threads is part of a feel-good family saga series set on Nantucket. It follows Lisa Hodges and the lives of her four adult children and friends as she turns her waterfront home into an inn. This is an addictive series with likable, relatable people that feel like old friends.. The book’s cover art was created by Shaela Kay and Nantucket Threads is being released by Piping Plover Press.

Pamela M. Kelley has a background executive search, advertising and food writing. The author grew up on Cape Cod. She is a foodie that has worked in restaurants and done food writing for the Cape Cod Times, and that often finds its way into her books.

When asked about why she wrote the book, Kelley said: “This is book six and in the last book Nantucket Weddings, we were introduced to Mia’s sister, Izzy and met her live-in boyfriend Rick, who struggles with anger issues. This book shows how Izzy dealt with that as she also expanded her business and prepared to raise her baby alone.”

Kelley has hopes that the book will take readers to a happy place, to a close-knit family and group of friends that they’ll want to visit again and again.
