About the Author
Pastor Jimmie D. Compton Jr. is an experienced pastoral leader with over thirty years of service as the Senior Pastor of Hope Bible Fellowship Church. He holds a master’s degree in Pastoral Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary and has been a licensed therapist for 25 years. In addition to his pastoral work, Pastor Compton has served in various counseling roles, including with the Detroit Police Chaplain Corps and Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries. He is passionate about mentoring young men in his community and is currently the Board Chairman of Citikidz Christian Sports Camp in Rector, PA.
A sought-after speaker and counselor for church leaders, Pastor Compton is also an author of several books, including In All Things, Love Escaping the Church Schism Cycle and Re-Weaponized Prayer Against Divisiveness. His latest research project, a six-year study on Early African Church History, has been transformed into a two-year, online curriculum at Hope Institute.
