Item 7.01               Regulation FD Disclosure.

Equitable Resources, Inc., through its Equitrans, L.P. subsidiary, has filed with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission for an extension of time until March 31, 2008 to complete construction of the Big Sandy pipeline.  Equitable expects that the pipeline will be turned in line during the first quarter of 2008.  The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s current order requires that construction be complete by November 15, 2007.
