Item 5.02.  Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

 

On August 5, 2010, Thompson Creek Metals Company Inc. (the “Company”) and its Board of Directors were advised of Dale Huffman’s decision to leave the Company and pursue other opportunities once his successor is appointed and a successful transition has been completed.  Mr. Huffman serves as Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of the Company.  Wendy Cassity has been appointed as Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of the Company and is expected to join the Company on September 7, 2010.
