On January 25, 2011, the Federal Agricultural Mortgage Corporation (“Farmer Mac”) issued a press release to announce Farmer Mac’s purchase of a $500 million funding agreement issued by Metropolitan Life Insurance Company.  A copy of the press release is attached to this report as Exhibit 99.
