(b) On December 10, 2007, Avery Dennison Corporation ("Company") announced that Christian A. Simcic will step down as group vice president for the Company's roll materials business at the end of 2007. Dean A. Scarborough, the Company’s president and chief executive officer, will assume responsibility for the roll materials business until Mr. Simcic’s successor is named. Mr. Simcic will continue to work on special projects for the Company.
