Item 8.01 Other Events.
On April 16, 2018, Cal-Maine Foods, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing it had voluntarily recalled one load, or 23,400 dozen eggs, purchased from Rose Acre Farms and re-packaged at the Cal-Maine Foods, Inc.’s Dade City, Florida, location. A copy of the Company’s press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report.
