Duke Energy extends Covid moratorium on power disconnections as advocacy groups attack its efforts

Duke Energy takes issue with reporting by nonprofits Bailout Watch and the Center for Biological Diversity that, despite a moratorium on disconnections for nonpayment of bills, its utilities have cut off power to some 60,700 customers while it received federal Covid-19 aid.
