Successful Businessman Sam Kahn On How To Make A Business Last

By: Get News

Manchester – Samuel Nathan Kahn has been a businessman for his whole adult life. He’s seen his fair share of triumphs and failures, and is no stranger to the ups and downs of owning a business.

Longevity in business can sometimes be a difficult thing for young entrepreneurs to achieve. Many businesses fail after only a few years, and often from the same mistakes that countless other people have made before.

If you want your business to last, you need to be willing to learn from mistakes of the past, and find balance in your approach.

Being daring and bold can be great to get things started, but you also need to know when to pull back.

Sam Kahn says you need to know when to take the right risks, and when to be cautious.

Having a radical management style can also be a big contributing factor to whether or not your business will succeed in the long run. Your working relationships are the foundation on which your business will succeed, so developing a strong rapport with your staff and management is going to go a long way in helping you last.

Sam Kahn likes to encourage this unique style of running business whenever he hires a new manager.

Sam says “When I hire a manager or a team leader and they ask me what the hours of the job are, my answer is ‘3 o’clock’.”

“It’s a quote that I’ve invented.” He says.

He says his managers will often then ask “What do you mean 3 o’clock?” to which he replies “If you’re going to run this business for me, and you need to take time off at 3pm and you’ve put things in place and things are going well, you can go and spend time with your family.”

“But if there’s a problem in the business that requires you, or a team member needs your urgent help at 3 am, I expect you to take that call, as well. So, the hours are 3 o’clock.”

Cultivating this work-life balance means that business can run more smoothly, and everyone is on the same page.

Currently Sam Kahn owns and operates a regulated claims management firm in Manchester, UK. His company aims to help people who have been mis-guided financially claim their money back.

Sam Kahn has been in business for decades, and enjoys giving advice to young and budding entrepreneurs out there looking to start up businesses of their own. He takes joy in investing in others, and helping them succeed.
