The Carteret Nighthawks little league and travel team is based in Carteret, New Jersey. In particular, the Carteret Nighthawks travel program has several divisions divided by age groups 8U-15U. Specifically, the 10U division team of the Carteret Nighthawks had a hot start (2-0) under the supervision of Frankie Plasencia, Baseball Coach, and Ernesto Borbon, the new Pitching Instructor and Former Pitcher of the Los Angeles Dodgers. The 10U division team has been performing remarkably well during the regular season under Mr. Plasencia and Mr. Borbon. Friends and close family members to the team have coined Mr. Plasencia and Mr. Borbon's coaching union as the "Dynamic Duo".
All team's coaches and instructors exhibit extreme professionalism and make it their mission to teach the players self-worth by instilling the values of commitment, hard work, and respect for the game of baseball in them. A key element of the Carteret Nighthawks' program is imparting in its players a sense of loyalty, and fair play, as well as adaptation to working on a team.
"Our program offers many of the same advantages as higher-profile programs at a fraction of the cost. We have a top-notch turf facility with a full kitchen that we will be hosting tournaments at during the spring, summer, and fall seasons. We also have an indoor facility where we will hold practices and workouts during the winter season. Our coaches believe in teaching self-worth to the players by teaching them the value of commitment, hard work, and respect for the game of baseball and for all who are involved in it. They will be asked to give nothing less than 100% at all times and sacrifice to make a better team," says one of the leading coaches of the Carteret Nighthawks program.
As a result of the team's outstanding performance and the coaches' expertise, the Carteret Nighthawks Little League and Travel Program have been able to gain sponsorship opportunities. The famous sponsors of the program include URSB, OEG, Mondovi Dental, CJSL,and Burger Express, etc. The sponsorship has helped promote the Carteret Nighthawks Little League and Travel Program. The sponsorship has also helped to encourage and motivate more interested participants to take part in the Carteret Little League and Carteret Nighthawks travel baseball program.
A goal of the organization is to reach out to more sponsors in order to raise awareness about the baseball little and travel league programs and to help polish or continue to polish the skills of interested and/or existing players. The help and motivation provided to the players ensures they understand the meaning of teamwork and be the best they can be both as individuals and athletes.
