Spice House Atlanta Sponsors 2022 Atlanta Caribbean Festival, Hosts Carnival’s First Annual Breakfast Brunch at Midtown Location

Atlanta, GA – May 24, 2022 – The Spice House Atlanta Restaurant in Midtown will serve as host of the first annual Breakfast Brunch given by the Atlanta Caribbean Carnival, as it resumes its 35-year traditional cultural celebration after being off for two years due to the pandemic.

Held on Memorial Day Weekend, the highly anticipated Atlanta Caribbean Carnival, is a cultural mainstay of thousands of West Indian Caribbean celebrators from around the world, and is partnering with Spice House Atlanta Restaurants, to hold its first annual Breakfast Bash on Sunday, May 29 at its Midtown location, beginning at 10:00am.

“We are excited to participate as a sponsor of the 2022 Atlanta Caribbean Carnival festivities, by hosting their first annual Breakfast Brunch at our Midtown location,” says Anthony “Ace” Carrington, a partner at Spice House Atlanta Restaurants.  “Spice House Atlanta partners and chefs are proud of our Caribbean heritage and look forward to sharing our restaurant’s cuisine, which creatively incorporates the influences of dishes from various islands like Jamaica, Haiti, Trinidad, Cuba and the Virgin Islands,” he said.

Spice House Atlanta has four restaurant locations, which have stylish décor reminiscent of relaxing resort getaways on Caribbean islands. In addition to popular traditional Caribbean dishes like oxtails and rice and peas, the food on the menu also infuses flavors and dishes unique to certain islands, such as Haitian Black Mushroom Rice, Jerk Chicken Egg Rolls, Yuca Fries, etc. The Midtown location recently installed an additional outdoor patio, for diners to also enjoy dining outdoors in warmer months.

The restaurants are located in the culturally diverse and affluent communities of Midtown and Buckhead, as well as in the predominantly African-American and also affluent communities of Cascade in Southwest Atlanta, and Stonecrest (formerly known as Lithonia) in Southeast Atlanta.

“Our first annual Breakfast Bash on Sunday will wrap up a full weekend of cultural activities, including our highly anticipated Caribbean parade downtown,” says Patricia Henry, president of the Atlanta Caribbean Carnival. “We are thankful for the opportunity to partner with Spice House Atlanta for our first Breakfast Bash and look forward to growing our partnership with them for future Carnival events,” she said.

In addition to the delicious Caribbean food served at Spice House Midtown, located at 375 14th Street, NW, attendees of the Atlanta Caribbean Carnival’s Breakfast Bash will enjoy music and live entertainment from internationally renowned Caribbean performing artist, DJ Cheem.
