"Jacobus A Eunuch’s Faith: Book 2 India Connection" Explores Historical Realms Hitherto Untouched

Writer Paul Trittin pens his new historical fiction, “Jacobus A Eunuch’s Faith: Book 2 India Connection”. The book is a mixture of fact and fiction with layers of truth as the writer highlights the political and moral rights of the gay community. A unique portrayal of 21st-century politics on the backdrop of a 20th-century man, “Jacobus A Eunuch’s Faith: Book 2 India Connection” made it to the shelves on 6th August 2021.

The book begins by telling the story of 12 Jewish members of an international trading partnership operating from Sicily to India. These individuals find themselves present in Jerusalem for the Passover and later end their lives at Jesus’ crucifixion and resurrection.

While in preparation for a supplementary trading mission, a young man, Jacobus, encounters Apostle Thomas in front of a Synagogue in Alexandria, Egypt. He offers to take the apostle with him to India on his ship. Many years pass by, and Jacobus finally decides to return home to Sicily on his pet elephant. On reaching Jerusalem, a year later, he finds himself on a hill overlooking Jerusalem. The city lay totally destroyed before him, with thousands of bodies piled up around the broken city walls with hundreds of dead and dying victims of Roman crucifixion all along the roads.

“Jacobus, A Eunuch’s Faith is a historical fiction that considers the interaction of three great events in the western world during the first century, which still affects us today. They were like siren calls that Paul Trittin, the author of Jacobus, could not resist”, an excerpt from the book “Jacobus A Eunuch’s Faith: Book 2 India Connection”.

Those interested in the historical and geographical connections that shaped today’s world and the role played by a special group of people will find this work revealing and mesmerizing.
