Kathmandu cheers the blissful celebrationHotel Yak and Yeti in Durbarmark became fashionable on Saturday night. The fashion show, dubbed “IEC Designer Runway-11,” impressed the hotel itself with 12 sequences of fascinating fashion designs ranging from celebrities to lamp models.
The fashion event with sparkling decorations featured 7 Indian models and 25 Nepalese models showcasing clothing designs created by 61 fashion designers. The 19th group of IEC College graduates included all 61 fashion designers.
Former Miss Nepal Namrata Shrestha, Asmi Shrestha, actresses Aanchal Sharma, Rubina Thapa, and actor Aakash Shrestha all made dramatic appearances as the show-stoppers at the fashion show put on by IEC College and Next Models Nepal, captivating the audience.
The “IEC Designer Runway” fashion show, which has been held on a regular basis for a number of years, was, according to Ravi Dhamala, CEO of Next Models Nepal, arranged more successfully, wonderfully, and historically this year.
The fashion show, which was choreographed by Abhimanyu Singh Tomar, was attended by important people, VIPs, businesspeople, and celebrities.
IEC Designer Runway’s primary goal, according to Shailaja Adhikary, managing director of IEC Group (IEC College/IEC School of Art and Fashion), is to promote Nepali fashion designers and elevate Nepali fashion creations to a worldwide level.
