The 5-Week Golf Lesson Package is designed to help golfers understand the fundamental concepts of the golf swing with the goal of improving the golf swing over the course of 5 weeks. After each indoor session which lasts 45 minutes, each lesson is video recapped and provided to the student for practice.
All lessons are customized for each student, but here is an example of what 5 indoor golf lessons would cover for a beginner or high-handicap player.
The first lesson is usually an evaluation of the player's golf swing, physical ability, and goals. In the first lesson, two very important drills are put in place to help the players with grip, set up, take away and impact into the golf ball. A short video is provided to the student for review.
The second lesson usually continues the development of the two drills provided in the first lesson. In the second lesson, the first two drills are refined and players begin executing the drills with higher efficiency. A short video is provided to the student for review.
In the third lesson, players are introduced to the full back swing and the full follow-through positions, in this lesson multiple clubs will be used including the pitching wedge, (PW), the 7 iron (#7), and the 4 iron or 4 hybrids (#4). Players will start to develop positive swing thoughts in this lesson that are designed to be used during play on the golf course. A short video is provided to the student for review.
In the fourth lesson, players are introduced to the fairway woods and the driver. The driver lesson is especially important because there are major differences between using a driver in golf and using irons in golf. Many players do not understand these differences making the game much harder to learn. A short video is provided to the student for review.
In the fifth lesson, players work through the multiple clubs in the golf swing including the PW, #7, #4, fairway woods & driver, making adjustments to ball positions and swing feels. In the last lesson, all previous lessons are tied together in a simple yet efficient way so the player can understand clearly how to build and maintain a solid well-balanced golf swing. After the 5 lessons, players are offered more lessons in the aspects of the game including putting, chipping, pitching and trouble shots, players may schedule outdoor clinics, classes, or private lessons including on-course playing lessons.
