By: Get News
Christina Hall is the newest addition to the legal team. Previously, Christina served as Director of the Central Appellate Research Section of the New Jersey Appellate Division.

The Bianchi Law Group, LLC is thrilled to announce the hiring of Christina Hall, ESQ as their newest associate. Christina was introduced in the January Newsletter and on the radio show "Nothing But The Truth," which airs weekly on WMTR radio on Saturday at 10:30 am.

Christina most recently was Director of the Central Appellate Research Section of the New Jersey Appellate Division, which supports the division's judges and clerks with in-depth research. In September, Christina retired from the Appellate Division after 33 years of service. Christina made the transition to private practice and has melded seamlessly with the team here at the Bianchi Law Group. As an addition to the BLG team, Christina is a tremendous addition to the firm and, by extension, clients and strategic partners in several ways.

Christina has joined the morning huddles, in which all BLG attorneys meet to discuss every case the firm has pending and offer various viewpoints as former prosecutors with disparate backgrounds. With her experience from the Appellate Division, she provides invaluable input for legal issues that need research and gives a perspective from the judiciary. Christina will also support each trial attorney with cutting-edge legal research, information, and motions, both on and off the huddle. In addition, her extensive appellate expertise enhances BLG's existing trial experience and will enable the team to fashion approaches when handling matters for clients more fully.

Christina's experience with and knowledge of the Appellate Division brings added expertise to the firm that will help with appeals referred by strategic partners and allow BLG attorneys to brief appeals in a way that appeals to judges and law clerks. Finally, Christina will enhance blog posts. BLG strives to bring added value to clients and colleagues. The firm will continue to publish blog posts on criminal law, domestic violence, matrimonial law, and cases involving rules of evidence. Those posts are available on the firm website, newsletter, and strategic partner emails.

Christina has already published the following blog posts:

a. The crime-fraud exception to the marital communications privilege does not apply to the text messages sent between spouses before the law went into effect– State v. Bailey, 251 N.J. 101, 107 (2022).

b. Contradiction and Minimization of Miranda Warnings can Result in Suppression- State v. O.D.A.-C, 250 N.J. 408 (2022).

c. Police Must Advise Suspects of Any Arrest Warrants With The Miranda Warnings- State v. Sims, 250 N.J. 189 (2022).

d. What relationships are required to secure a domestic violence restraining order in New Jersey?

These blogs can be accessed in the firm’s website at https://bianchilawgroup.com/

Bob and Dave offered greetings for 2023, saying, "We want to thank everyone who has referred cases to BLG. We handle criminal defense, domestic violence, appeals, and municipal court cases, including DWIs and traffic offenses. Your trust in us through these referrals is deeply appreciated and honored. We wish you all a healthy and prosperous year in 2023."
