Madisonville, Texas - August 22, 2026 - Lake Madison Park has some new concrete underfoot, and 4L Concrete Solutions is proud to have helped make it happen.
The company recently completed new paved walking trails and sidewalk work for the City of Madisonville, giving park visitors more space to walk, run, exercise, and enjoy the area.
The project comes at a good time, too.
Madisonville is getting ready for its 5K and Pet Run on September 5, which will help raise money for a new Outdoor Fitness Court at Lake Madison Park.
That means the new trails won’t be sitting empty for long.
Families, runners, walkers, and pet owners will all have a chance to use the improvements during the upcoming event and well beyond it.
For 4L Concrete Solutions, this wasn’t just another concrete project.
“We were really excited to work on something that the whole community gets to enjoy,” said Barrett Landry of 4L Concrete Solutions. “Madisonville has a lot of good things happening right now, and getting to work with Kelsey and the city on a project like this was something we really appreciated. It’s rewarding knowing these trails are going to be used by local families for years.”
The 5K begins at 8 a.m. on September 5, while the one-mile Pet Run starts later that evening at 6 p.m.
And Madisonville is keeping the Pet Run fun.
Dogs are welcome, of course, but participants can also bring animals like hamsters or chickens as long as they’re properly leashed or kept in carriers.
Entry costs $25 per person for either event or $40 for anyone signing up for both.
The event itself may only last a day, but the improvements at Lake Madison Park are built for the long haul.
Good walking trails make a park easier to use. They give people a place to exercise, take the kids out, walk the dog, or just spend some time outside.
That’s why projects like this hit a little closer to home for the 4L team.
