BEATOZ is set to expand its cooperation with the Kyrgyz government in the field of digital infrastructure. On September 17, BEATOZ announced that it had signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on digital infrastructure cooperation with the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The agreement was signed on September 16 during the inaugural Korea–Central Asia Business Summit held at The Westin Josun Seoul. Lee Sang-guk, CEO of BEATOZ Korea, and Ravshanbek Sabirov, Chairman of the National Investment Agency, signed the agreement in the presence of senior government officials from both countries.

Hosted by Korea’s Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the summit brought together government officials and business leaders from Korea and five Central Asian countries—Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. Participants discussed ways to expand trade and investment, as well as cooperation in critical minerals and energy, supply chains, plants and infrastructure, and logistics.

The agreement follows a working-level meeting held in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, in June. During the meeting, Chairman Sabirov and the BEATOZ delegation discussed potential areas of cooperation in digital technology, with the development of blockchain solutions and the introduction of digital financial services emerging as key areas of discussion.

At the meeting, BEATOZ introduced its core business areas, along with its experience in developing digital financial infrastructure and digital asset management systems. After reviewing BEATOZ’s technological capabilities, the National Investment Agency proposed continuing discussions. The two sides subsequently worked to define specific areas for follow-up cooperation, ultimately leading to the signing of the MOU.

During the June meeting, Chairman Sabirov said, “The development of digital technologies and innovative solutions is one of our key areas of focus. We are particularly interested in projects that contribute to economic modernization and create new opportunities for investors and businesses.”

The remarks reflect the National Investment Agency’s focus on advancing the digital economy and promoting the adoption of technology in investment-related sectors as part of its broader national agenda.

Under the agreement, the two sides will establish a joint working group to identify investment projects in the digital infrastructure sector and continue discussions through to the conclusion of investment agreements. BEATOZ will also provide training and seminars for officials and staff of the National Investment Agency to help strengthen local capabilities in digital infrastructure and related fields.

BEATOZ has previously built a track record of practical applications in Korea by combining its regulatory-friendly hybrid blockchain infrastructure with the CPG (Crypto Payment Gateway) jointly developed with RINGNET. The company has continued to develop and validate applications for digital finance and payment infrastructure in the Korean market.

With the signing of the new agreement, BEATOZ is expanding the scope of its cooperation beyond the Korean market to overseas government institutions, further extending its technology and infrastructure cooperation into national-level applications.

Lee Sang-guk, CEO of BEATOZ Korea, said, “Kyrgyzstan is pursuing digital transformation at the national level, making it a market where we can participate from the initial infrastructure design stage. We aim to establish a meaningful case in Kyrgyzstan by extending the experience we have accumulated through financial and industrial applications in Korea into the development of national-level digital infrastructure.”
