COVINGTON, La. - September 7, 2021 - (Newswire.com)

CGB Enterprises, Inc. (CGB) is pleased to announce Ellie Murphy as its first appointed Director of Sustainability and Food Safety. Ellie will lead the company's sustainability program, including related objectives, goals and strategies, for organization-wide efforts across its multiple business units in the agriculture and transportation space.

Ellie has held numerous roles of increasing responsibility within agribusiness, regulatory compliance, and sustainability. Most recently, she worked for Marathon Petroleum Corporation where she participated in and led various sustainability efforts across the Logistics and Storage component. Ellie graduated from Ohio State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Engineering and later earned a Master's in Urban Sustainability and Resilience from Xavier University. She is currently a candidate in Ohio State's Master's of Applied Economics Program.
