Additions will support the company’s expansion into the enterprise market

Today, virtual neurology clinic Neura Health announced the addition of Douglas Moore as Head of Product and Ben Schneider as Head of Business Operations.

As Head of Product, Moore will play a key role in shaping Neura’s product strategy and development to expand access to high-quality, personalized neurological care. Schneider will bring his extensive experience leading business development and operations for some of the most prominent startups of the last decade, including Truepill and WeWork. He’ll play a key role in Neura’s go-to-market expansion, in which the company is moving beyond the consumer market to bring its virtual neurology solution to employers.

“Douglas and Ben are effective leaders with the business development and product experience to lead our company’s expansion into the enterprise market,” said Elizabeth Burstein, CEO and co-founder of Neura Health. “We’re thrilled to have them join the team as we work to get more people with neurological conditions access to the quality care they deserve.”

The appointment of Moore and Schneider builds upon Neura’s recent momentum, having recently announced $8 million in seed funding in a round led by Koch Disruptive Technologies and Norwest Venture Partners.

“Throughout my career, I have been passionate about building products and teams that empower individuals to live their fullest,” said Moore. “I am eager to put my experience in product strategy to work and join Neura’s mission of improving access to and quality of neurological care.”

Neura’s platform dramatically reduces wait times to see a neurologist, from 4-6 months to just 48 hours, and helps patients find the right combination of medications, lifestyle changes and proactive care. Doing so helps avoid emergency department and urgent care visits, leading to a 2.6x ROI on medical claims savings alone for employers.

“Even as a relatively young company, Neura has already proven the impact it can have for people living with headache and migraine,” said Schneider. “Neura’s solution is making a real difference in the way patients receive neurological care and I look forward to helping the company build on its early success.”
