Research published in peer-reviewed literature consistently estimates that roughly 17% of adolescents engage in non-suicidal self-injury at least once before adulthood, underscoring the need for early assessment and structured treatment for teens experiencing significant emotional distress.
In response to these growing mental health needs, California Teen Center provides a continuum of evidence-based behavioral health services for adolescents who require more support than traditional weekly therapy while remaining connected to their families, schools, and communities. The center also offers a Teen Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP/Day Program), outpatient therapy, step-down care following higher levels of treatment, and Virtual IOP for eligible families throughout California.
