EDMONTON, Alberta - April 13, 2022 - PRLog -- Stormboard is pleased to announce an innovative software upgrade that will dramatically improve performance of users worldwide.

Dubbed "New Stormboard" by the product development team behind the update, the project brings massive performance improvements to Stormboard's powerful visual collaboration and digital workspace tool.

Stormboard's primary objective for this project was to build on the success of the tool, by adding even more power and potential for its global user base. The result of the upgrade is less lag, better responsiveness, and better capabilities.

The projected consisted of a re-write of the entire in-Storm experience in a new technology, moving to a more complex, but much more powerful rendering engine. This upgrade allows for a more responsive interface able to handle higher loads (more users in a Storm are able to work faster, with dramatically reduced lag between input and visualization).

Chief Technical Officer and Stormboard co-founder, Michael Bollman, who led the project — says that even with this launch, the project is far from over: "We could not be more excited about the future of Stormboard. With this latest release, our team has opened a number doors for future expansion of the platform, the addition of new features and functions, and continued overall improvement."

The launch of 'New Stormboard' is in effect for all Sotrmboard users as of end of business, April 13, 2022.
