A globally recognized young artist, Patryk Wilk, made a statement with one of his stellar conceptual art pieces, “Inexpressible,” exhibited at the renowned museum in Iceland, the Living Art Museum. Inexpressible is a contemporary art designed to creatively express ideas, thoughts, and opinions about space and everything related to spatial elements. Endowed with artistic grandeur, the artwork comprises a variety of unique artistic elements, including printed articles on canvas, bone glue, hues, and textiles. Because of its unique endowment, the piece of art graciously spreads over the highest wall of the gallery.

Patryk takes pride as the artist of the decade as he uses his rare, priceless gift to create conceptual artworks aimed at educating, influencing perceptions, and changing wrongfully woven thought patterns existing in the present world. As an artist intentional about improving the status quo of the consumer society, he stands out from a variety of artists littered in the industry. He places value over aesthetics and material concerns and seeks to capture the truth in the most expressive way.

Currently a student of Master of Fine Art at the Iceland University of The Arts in Reykjavik, Iceland, Patryk uses his art as his voice, primarily zooming in on conceptualism. He is regarded as a master of contemporary art as he infuses sheer brilliance in his works as a conceptual painter and author of installations, videos, and art-based research work. He has a wealth of experience in creating conceptual art pieces and paintings, having practiced as an artist in residence at the 2020 September Hjalteyri Residency Workshop, 2019 May Skala Dziwności Workshop, and the 2019 April Anywhere but Here #2 Workshop. Additionally, he has exhibited his art pieces on various international platforms.

“The work ‘Inexpressible,’ which is presented in the group exhibition at the Living Art Museum, Reykjavik, Iceland, is physically an artwork adapted to new spatial elements. Inexpressible, which is one of the works featured in the exhibition, is a physical representation of their ideas about spatial elements. It is also conceptually related to their ideas about reality. Inexpressible use the articles printed on canvas and bone glue and the idea of a facemask, as well as the colors and patterns of the textiles, to create a palette that covers the entire gallery’s highest wall, which is around 7×3 meters,” said Patryk Wilk.
