The Welcome Saudi Awards 2022 is set to showcase the best hotels in Saudi Arabia for travelers to the Kingdom and celebrate the luxury gems tucked away in cities like Riyadh, Makkah, Jeddah, and Madinah.
Being the inaugural awards, Welcome Saudi is excited to set a strong pace for the coming years and help reveal the best of Saudi Arabia to the world. The prestigious awards will recognize excellence among hotels in various categories and celebrate hotel visionaries changing the travel and hospitality space in the Kingdom.
Preparations are underway for the December 2022 awards, with Welcome Saudi inviting hotels in Jeddah, Makkah, Riyadh, Madinah, and other cities to enter for consideration. The awards are open to hotels, from 3-star to 5-star hotels, with many categories to choose from.
Over the past year, the Welcome Saudi Team visited more than 200 hotels including all major 5-star hotels in the cities of Riyadh, Jeddah, Makkah and Madinah. During each visit, the team creates a video tour of the hotels to share on the website and social media. These videos provide excellent resources for travelers to these cities, giving them a good idea of what they can expect from the hotels including lobby, rooms and suites, breakfast, the outside of the hotel, and other facilities such as spas and gyms.
Within a short time, the videos shared on Welcome Saudi’s YouTube channel, and Instagram have racked up over half a million views. Travelers can find video tours from world-famous hotels in cities like Park Hyatt, The Ritz-Carlton, and Shangr-La in Jeddah and the Four Seasons, The Ritz-Carlton and The Al Faisaliah Hotel in Riyadh. The Welcome Saudi Hotel Awards 2022 will also highlight luxury hotels in the pilgrim cities of Makkah and Madinah.
Through this cooperation with hotels across Saudi Arabia, Welcome Saudi has created a one-stop site for visitors to find the best places to visit and stay in the Kingdom. The site also provides people with valuable pricing information and hotel ratings.
