Steve Lawrence, who sang hits like “This Could be the Start of Something Good" and “Go Away Little Girl" as part of the 1950s pop duo Steve & Eydie with wife Eydie Gormé, has died. He was 88 years old.
Steve Lawrence, who sang hits like "This Could be the Start of Something Big" and "Go Away Little Girl" as part of the pop duo Steve & Eydie with wife Eydie Gormé, has died. He was 88 years old. Lawrence died from complications due to Alzheimer’s disease, said Susan DuBow, a spokesperson for the family. The Associated Press contributed to this report.
