Minnesota Nonprofit Adullam Community Network Launches FIRE, a Community Preparedness Initiative Focused on Peace of Mind

MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL, MN - Across the country, many families are asking the same questions in private.

What documents should be kept ready? Who should know where someone is if something goes wrong? What rights exist, and how can they be recalled clearly during moments of stress?

This week, Adullam Community Network, a nonprofit organization established in Minneapolis, announced the launch of FIRE, a community safety and preparedness initiative built for people who want to be ready—quietly, lawfully, and with dignity.

FIRE was developed to help individuals and families prepare for unexpected situations without creating fear or urgency. The initiative centers on practical readiness, offering tools that support calm decision-making and clear communication before assistance is needed.

The platform allows users to designate trusted contacts, send alerts for help during emergencies, and securely share essential information when circumstances require it. FIRE also supports practical preparation steps that many people recognize as important but often delay, including organizing critical documents, understanding basic protections, and locating reliable community-based resources.

Most people who set up FIRE may never need to actively use it. That outcome is intentional.

The initiative was developed by Adullam Community Network in consultation with community leaders, advocates, and faith-based organizers who have spent years supporting families navigating uncertainty. The goal was not to increase concern, but to reduce it—by removing avoidable confusion before it becomes a problem.

FIRE is completely free for users and is fully self-funded by Adullam Community Network. The initiative does not rely on external sponsors or advertising and is designed to operate independently. The platform was created to serve people directly, without pressure, persuasion, or outside influence.

Privacy protection is foundational to the platform’s design. FIRE does not collect or sell user data, does not track location in the background, and does not analyze user behavior. Sensitive information is protected using encryption and modern security practices, and nothing is shared unless a user explicitly chooses to share it.

In addition to preparedness tools, FIRE provides access to directories of assistance services, nonprofit support organizations, and a moderated community forum focused on preparedness rather than real-time incidents. The purpose is to support informed readiness, not speculation or alarm.

The introduction of FIRE reflects a simple reality: many people already seek this information on their own, often across scattered websites or informal networks. FIRE brings these resources into one place without presenting itself as an authority or replacement.
