Power Home Remodeling Ranks #1 on 2023 Fortune Best Workplaces in Construction™ List

The home remodeler earns top spot on competitive list for first time ever

Power Home Remodeling (“Power”), the nation’s leading exterior home remodeler, has earned the #1 spot on the 2023 Fortune Best Workplaces in Construction™ List in the large company category, marking its first time on the list.

Power had to pass rigorous benchmarks in order be named as one of the best U.S. companies to work for in the construction industry. According to the Great Place to Work® survey, 96% of Power employees believe it’s a great place to work, and 99% believe when you join the company, you’re made to feel welcome.

"We’re incredibly proud to be re-defining what it means to work in construction - both in quality of service and diversity of employee,” said Power’s Chief Production Officer, Rob Borislow. “Our people are setting a new standard for what homeowners can and should expect from our industry. We’re honored to be recognized and are energized by the work still ahead.”

Power offers employees a unique workplace experience — one that provides both professional development and personal fulfillment, and is flipping the script of what it looks to work for a construction company. Some of the unique benefits at Power include:

  • Over 250+ annual events that foster a greater sense of community including their annual Quest music festival and retreat in Mexico with acts like Bruno Mars and Wiz Khalifa
  • Subsidized child care, providing up to $5,000 annually tax-free for employees and their families
  • A volunteer stipend to encourage employees to positively impact their communities
  • PowerAid — an employee Relief and Assistance Fund to provide financial support during unexpected life events

“Congratulations to the Best Workplaces in Construction,” says Michael C. Bush, CEO of Great Place To Work. “These companies know that it isn’t the industry — but the company — that determines the employee experience. By putting people first, they are reaping the rewards: higher levels of performance, innovation, and customer experience.”

Fortune congratulates the Best Workplaces in Construction,” says Fortune Editor-in-Chief Alyson Shontell. “Creating a vibrant workplace culture that draws the best talent in construction is vital for the success of the leaders in this highly competitive industry. It is also what’s needed to ignite innovation and deliver best-in-class performance.”

This past year, Power has also earned the #13 placement on the 2023 Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For® list, #21 on the Fortune Best Workplaces for Millennials™ List, and #49 on the PEOPLE Companies That Care® list. They also ranked at #3 on the Qualified Remodeler Top 500 list that recognizes the leading organizations within the construction industry.
