CBB Bancorp, Inc. Announces Addition of James C. Hong to Board of Directors

CBB Bancorp, Inc. (the “Company”) (OTCQX: CBBI), the parent company of Commonwealth Business Bank (the “Bank”), today announced that James C. Hong has been appointed to its Board of Directors, as well as to the Board of the Company’s subsidiary bank. The appointment to each of the Boards is effective August 1, 2026.

With more than 40 years of executive-level management experience in commercial banking, Mr. Hong brings deep industry expertise and a long record of leadership to the organization. Mr. Hong previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company and the Bank, a role from which he retired after years of guiding the Bank’s strategic growth.

“We are pleased to welcome Mr. Hong back to the organization in this important governance role,” said Soon Han Pak, Chair of both the Company and the Bank. “His extensive background on the lending side of the business, proven leadership, and deep understanding of our Bank’s mission will be invaluable as we continue to execute on our strategic priorities.”
