Before embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Jones pursued higher education, earning a Bachelor of Science in science from the University of Oregon in 2005. Following his graduation, he joined ADT as a high-volume sales representative in 2006. Within a year, he was promoted to district sales manager, a position he excelled in until 2013 when he was appointed area general manager.

From Tragedy Emerges Opportunity

Mr. Jones made the hard decision to leave his work to focus on school and taking care of his parents. At the time, he was working full-time, running multiple offices with over 200 employees. Although Mr. Jones was thriving professionally, he decided to enhance his skills with a graduate degree. He returned to the University of Oregon and earned a Master of Business Administration from the institution's Lundquist College of Business. However, while he was pursuing his studies, his father fell ill. Despite working and being a full-time student, Mr. Jones chose to take responsibility for his father's care; he made that same choice when his mother was diagnosed with dementia shortly after his father passed away.

Caring for his mother while handling estate planning, managing his own finances and keeping up with his studies led Mr. Jones to seek out care alternatives. During this search, he met a business owner whose home care agency needed his support. Recognizing an opportunity to help both his mother and a business thrive, he decided to join the agency.

Becoming Chief Executive Officer of the HOMECAREceo Forum

After completing his master's degree, Mr. Jones joined A Helping Hand Homecare as the director of operations and advanced to become the company's president within a year. Although the business was ultimately sold in 2020, Mr. Jones had discovered a new passion for home care. In time, the chief executive officer of the HOMECAREceo Forum reached out to him and hired him as chief operating officer and facilitator in 2020. Three years later, they agreed Mr. Jones would take over the business.

Through hard work, genuine care for others and a unique ability to consider multiple perspectives, Mr. Jones has found purpose alongside his will to succeed. From climbing the corporate ladder to earning a master's degree, he has built the skills necessary for improving the state of home care. By facilitating discussions, connecting key resources, and acting as a self-proclaimed professional question asker, Mr. Jones puts his values of community, education and service to others at the forefront of his work.
