McNicholas & McNicholas to bring together first responders and their families for discounted tickets and an on-field tribute at the Rose Bowl to those who served and sacrificed on September 11
Los Angeles, California--(Newsfile Corp. - September 2, 2026) - Plaintiff-trial law firm McNicholas & McNicholas, LLP will honor first responders on Saturday, September 12 during a football game at the Rose Bowl, commemorating the 25th anniversary of the September 11 attacks.
The game will bring together first responders and their families from across Southern California, along with Port Authority Police Officer Ray DeVito, who responded to the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001 and participated in the nine-month rescue and recovery mission. Together, they will honor those who responded that day, remember those who were lost and recognize first responders who continue to serve their communities.
"The 25th anniversary of September 11 is a time to remember the first responders we lost and recognize those who continue to answer the call every day," said Partner Matthew McNicholas. "For decades, our firm has had the privilege of standing alongside first responders, and we've seen firsthand the courage and sacrifice their work demands. We're proud to bring this community together to honor those who dedicate their lives to protecting others."
"The members of the Port Authority PBA thank McNicholas & McNicholas for honoring and never forgetting the selfless sacrifice of first responders on September 11," said Frank Conti, President of the Port Authority Police Benevolent Association. "For our members, that commitment to remembrance is deeply personal. The Port Authority Police Department has the sorrowful distinction of suffering the greatest loss of life by a police department in a single incident in the history of American law enforcement. 37 Port Authority police officers were killed in the line of duty at the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001."
Before kickoff at 4:15 p.m., an on-field flag ceremony will pay tribute to the firefighters, paramedics, police officers and other first responders who answered the call that day.
Discounted tickets are available for eligible first responders and their families. First responders must verify their status through ID.me to purchase tickets, with a maximum of eight tickets per person. Tickets are available at FirstRespondersLaw.com.
For more than two decades, McNicholas & McNicholas has represented first responders throughout California and recently expanded its practice to Chicago, Las Vegas, New York and Seattle.
