She took a position overseeing her grandmother's care as a certified nursing assistant scheduler and was soon encouraged to become an activity director.

The joy of working with seniors prompted Ms. Frigo to become dementia-certified through Rush University, which aided her in later roles at various senior care communities. She also earned certification as an emergency medical technician from City Colleges of Chicago-Wilbur Wright College and is pursuing certification as a senior advisor.

Ultimately, Ms. Frigo transitioned into sales and business development. From there, she became focused on wound care, which is now her firm's core offering.
