WorkClaw deploys proactive, fully customizable AI coworkers that work with entire teams, built on OpenClaw with the security and admin controls companies expect for actual work.
NEW YORK CITY, NY / ACCESS Newswire / June 9, 2026 / WorkClaw today introduced its AI coworker platform - an AI team for your team - and opened Early Access. WorkClaw deploys collaborative, proactive AI coworkers that work in Slack and Microsoft Teams just like every other colleague and are fully customizable to get work done your way.
Unlike most AI agents that pair one person with one assistant, WorkClaw takes a team-based approach. Each AI coworker, or "Claw," has a job title, a human manager in the company's org chart, and a cloud-hosted ClawOS computer with the ability to access more than 3,000 apps.
Claws chat in Slack or Microsoft Teams and can be configured to work with the entire organization or specific people. They can be trained to get work done according to a company's best practices by adding skills and routines. Claws can also collaborate with one another in ClawChat, WorkClaw's inter-agent messaging layer.
WorkClaw is built on top of OpenClaw, the viral open-source agentic platform, with the additional layers of security and admin controls companies expect for actual work, including role-based access, credential vaulting, per-agent data isolation, per-agent app provisioning, and SOC 2 compliance.
"Most AI agents work in silos but that isn't how teams collaborate," said Will Ruben, CEO of WorkClaw. "For the last century, work has always been between people. We're introducing a new kind of colleague, WorkClaws. We put collaborative, proactive AI coworkers into the places your team already works and make them fully customizable to get actual work done the way your company does."
Early Access is open today at WorkClaw.com, enabling teams to create their own Claws. Teams log in at WorkClaw.com, hire a new Claw in a few clicks, give them a title and job description, and set up their ClawOS computer in the ClawCloud. Each Claw is then trained on company workflows by adding skills and routines.
WorkClaw was founded by Will Ruben. The NYC-based founding team includes engineers and operators with prior experience at Meta, Instagram, Google, Microsoft, Coinbase, Amazon, and x.ai.
