Northern Trust Appoints Stephanie H. Giroux Senior Portfolio Advisor in New York Market

Northern Trust has appointed Stephanie H. Giroux, CFA, as Senior Portfolio Advisor in the Greater New York market. Giroux will be responsible for delivering goals driven investment advice to achieve our wealth management clients’ objectives. She will be based in the Greenwich, Connecticut office.

Giroux brings more than 30 years of investment and wealth management experience and has held a number of leadership and advisory positions throughout her career. She joins Northern Trust from BNY Mellon Wealth Management where, as Market President for Suburban New York and New Jersey, she was responsible for growing the local wealth management business and leading teams based in White Plains, New York and Madison, New Jersey.

Prior to that, Giroux was a Regional Investment Manager and Senior Investment Strategist for Wells Fargo Private Bank, operating across the New York and New England markets. Giroux has also held a variety of leadership positions at Citi Private Bank/Law Firm Group, TD AMERITRADE/Amerivest Investment Management, Fiduciary Global Advisors/Franklin Resources and U.S. Trust Company/Charles Schwab.

Giroux earned a Bachelor of Arts from Tufts University and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. She serves on the Boards of the Estate Planning Council of Westchester County and the non-profit Furniture Sharehouse. In addition, she is a member of the women’s collective giving group, Impact 100 Westchester.
