Broomfield, CO, USA - January 27, 2023 - MotorCloud today released a new app for dealers to manage their vehicle stocking and reconditioning process. The MotorCloud Recon app is designed to be streamlined, easy to use and affordable for all dealers. It will be ready for demo at the NADA convention this week. Additionally, MotorCloud announced two new apps in development that provide instant vehicle diagnostics and OEM Stickers.
The Recon app includes a best in class VIN Scanner, and allows multiple users to upload photos of damages, and update the vehicle status as it moves through the recon process. Users can post notes, and dealership staff can progress the vehicle through each stage from trade evaluation to front line ready.
"Through our dealer network we've seen a need for a recon tool like this that wasn't being met, so we stepped up and built it. Initial response from our dealers has been great," said MotorCloud Founder Mikel Goicoechea.
The instant vehicle diagnostics app will allow dealers to see if there are any error codes or issues with the vehicle while doing the trade evaluation, before sending it to the shop. It will also be the first such app to provide a timeline for repair and shop estimate.
