No Baby Blisters has announced its donation drive to fund epidermolysis bullosa treatment for infants in underserved regions, providing wound care, pain medications, nutritional programs, and specialist access while funding research for an affordable cure.

-- No Baby Blisters has introduced its awareness program and renewed donation drive to fund medical care for infants living with epidermolysis bullosa (EB), particularly in underserved and developing regions. For children with EB, early intervention is critical, and without immediate access to wound care and pain relief, the risk of life-threatening infections and complications rises rapidly.

This announcement comes at a time when the global burden of epidermolysis bullosa continues to grow, yet awareness and funding for the condition remain critically insufficient. EB affects an estimated 500,000 people worldwide, with newborns among the most severely impacted, and some cases resulting in up to 80 percent skin loss. According to the National Health Service, there is currently no cure for the condition, with treatment focused entirely on managing severe symptoms such as blistering, pain, and infections while attempting to improve quality of life.

Despite the scale of this crisis, the majority of affected children remain medically neglected and without access to even the most basic care. No Baby Blisters has introduced its program and renewed donation drive to directly address this gap, having already helped over 5,100 children worldwide and continuing to expand its reach to the families and communities that need it most.

Donations through the charity's Hero Guardian Angel Program fund a range of direct services, including specialized bandages, wound care supplies, pain relief medications, nutritional products that support healing, antibiotics, intravenous treatments, blood transfusions, and hospitalization support. According to a representative of the organization, the charity also provides comfort items and emotional support to families managing round-the-clock care.

The team highlights that No Baby Blisters is the only charity in the world that funds and supplies treatment and support specifically to EB children. Its work is documented in peer-reviewed publications through the National Institutes of Health's National Library of Medicine. The charity holds a Platinum transparency rating from GuideStar, the highest level available, and is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Beyond immediate care, No Baby Blisters is actively working toward an affordable, full-body cure for EB through its Fast Cure Plan, which focuses on ensuring that any treatment developed is accessible to the children who need it most.

"Every child with EB deserves pain relief, wound care, and the chance to survive. These children are medically neglected, not because their needs are small, but because awareness is. Every donation, of any size, directly funds life-saving care for children who have no other support," says a spokesperson for No Baby Blisters.
