Student Journalists and Photographers Received Leading Regional Recognition for Excellence in Reporting and Visual Storytelling

MORAGA, CA / ACCESS Newswire / April 6, 2026 / Saint Mary's College of California received top honors in writing and photography at the Bay Area Journalism Awards, recognizing the strength of its student media program and the quality of work produced by its student journalists.

The annual awards program showcases excellence in reporting, storytelling, and visual journalism across the Bay Area. Saint Mary's students were recognized among leading regional publications, earning distinctions for both written coverage and photography.
