Austral Dynamics Australia and Microsoft Showcase the Future of AI-Powered Business Operations at Copilot Partner Event
Austral Dynamics Australia x Microsoft Partner Event exploring the power of Copilot in Business Central and Microsoft 365.
Austral Dynamics Australia recently partnered with Microsoft to showcase how Microsoft Copilot is transforming business with Dynamics 365 Business Central and Microsoft 365. The event featured expert presentations from Tim Shaw (Tasklet) and Jarrod Huang (Microsoft), live demonstrations, and practical AI insights. Supported by SoftwareOne, attendees explored how AI can boost productivity, automate workflows, and drive smarter business decisions.

On 17 June 2026, Austral Dynamics Australia proudly hosted a partner event with Microsoft at SoftwareOne's Amphitheatre in North Sydney, bringing together business leaders, technology professionals, partners, and customers to explore the rapidly evolving world of artificial intelligence and its growing role in modern business operations. The event focused on how Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, and Microsoft 365 are transforming the way organisations improve productivity, streamline operations, and embrace digital innovation.

Expert Insights and Live Demonstrations

One of the highlights of the event was an engaging presentation by Tim Shaw, APAC Lead at Tasklet, who delivered a live demonstration showcasing Microsoft Copilot integrated with Dynamics 365 Business Central. Tim demonstrated how businesses can use AI to optimise inventory management, warehouse operations, order processing, purchasing workflows, and financial reconciliation.

Rather than presenting theoretical use cases, the session focused on practical examples that businesses can implement today. Attendees saw how AI can reduce manual administration, minimise errors, improve operational efficiency, and allow employees to focus on more strategic, value-adding activities.

The event also featured an insightful keynote from Jarrod Huang, AI Workforce Solution Architect at Microsoft, who explored how artificial intelligence is reshaping the modern workplace. Jarrod discussed Microsoft's vision for AI-powered productivity and explained how Copilot is becoming an integral part of Microsoft 365, helping organisations automate everyday tasks while improving collaboration and decision-making.

He highlighted that businesses adopting AI today are positioning themselves for greater competitiveness, agility, and long-term growth in an increasingly digital economy.

Practical AI for Australian Businesses

Beyond the presentations, attendees participated in discussions around the practical implementation of AI within ERP systems and business processes. Topics included preparing business data for AI, maintaining governance and security, improving data quality, and identifying opportunities where automation can deliver immediate business value.

The sessions demonstrated how Copilot can assist with generating reports, summarising information, supporting customer communications, analysing business data, and simplifying routine administrative work. Participants also explored how AI can improve collaboration across finance, operations, sales, and customer service teams without disrupting existing workflows.

For many small and medium-sized businesses, these capabilities represent an opportunity to scale operations more efficiently while reducing the time spent on repetitive manual tasks.
