Sagility Appoints Dr. William Winkenwerder, Jr., Former President and CEO of Highmark Health, to its Board of Directors

Sagility LLC, a leading provider of technology-enabled healthcare business process management (BPM) services, recently appointed Bill Winkenwerder to its Board of Directors.

As Chairman of Winkenwerder Strategies Dr. Winkenwerder works with global private equity firms and serves several healthcare companies, including Sagility. Before forming Winkenwerder Strategies, he was President and CEO of Highmark Health from 2012-2014. Prior, he served as President George W. Bush’s Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs and held senior leadership roles at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, Prudential Healthcare and Emory University. Dr. Winkenwerder is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and a board-certified physician.
